‘Kenyan Water Project’

You have developed an online web conferencing and meeting tool. You need to build a brand for it and get people to use it. Fair. You then shoot an ad campaign to show how people can use the technology. How about a storyline about how a bunch of disparate people can come together to solve a problem … in Africa. That’s the GoToMeeting brand strategy across digital and traditional media with this ad campaign above.

  1. Gee, and I thought I was cynical…who gives a flying f—k who comes up with the idea and who it’s for…it’s the facilitation of communication that’s the issue.

  2. For anyone interested and / or requiring to market their invention / product / service etc. to the masses, our company has successfully partnered with CWIIL GROUP, which has the ability to assist a small business to grow by helping any start-up by handling everything you want them to and guide you through all the twists and turns of international marketing. CWIIL GROUP gently guides you through the jungle while you can watch your business revenue grow at the same time. So for a project as important as a water project I would definitely get in contact with them and get an outline of how they can help your specific project. CWIIL GROUP – http://www.cwiilgroup.com

  3. I would really enjoy seeing people not reference all things desperate with blacks or Africa.
One needs to look at blacks as equals and not needing non-blacks as helpers or supporters for their lack of whatever. As if the rest of the world doesn’t need help or another ad promoting a bullshit effort to sell something.

  4. It’s just a BS way of tugging at people’s hearts – oh look, it’s a diverse group of do-gooders. Don’t blame GoToMeeting. Blame people for being idiots.
