I’m confused as to why people get on Paul Simon’s case for incorporating (and fully acknowledging) different influences in his music. He’s an amazing songwriter who put a lot of non-American music on the map for people who wouldn’t have heard of it otherwise. Not an Elvis or what have you. Besides, there is no purity in music. It’s all about cross-pollination, so we can’t blame him for loving many sounds.
Seen this group twice live…let me just say i am glad i didn’t have to spend money!
